The Burning Sea
The raucous splatter of
Burning waves
Upon crimson sand, the
Smoldering
Polluted tide
Entering…leaving
The squalid shore…
Oh vulgar hand of careless man
That takes the earth’s breath away,
Do not make the pristine sea
Disappear from my
Aging, and fading eyes!
