Spring/Summer 2016
if the other side even exists
the perfect nightmares
of endless days struck
in the paisley day
dreams of mindless
models that couldn’t
be interested in you
even if you paid them
it’s tempting to dance
with the devil just to
see if the other side
even exists
fear is one mighty
pill to swallow
many choke on it
a few even die
because of it
you’d like to think
you aren’t one of
them
but that’s one giant
leap of faith given
the lack of evidence
to suggest otherwise
it would help if
you remembered
that animals are
creatures of instinct
